REVO 3.0 TFSI INTERCOOLER PIPE UPGRADE


The Revo Intercooler Pipe Upgrade kit increases power and reduces lag by replacing the restrictive stock pipework. This optional upgrade features a larger internal diameter. direct routing. smoother bends and flush-fit ends. This means less resistance for more effective cooling at any level of tuning.

CHARGE HOSE DESIGN


The Revo charge hose is a smooth custom-designed silicone hose. Designed to directly replace the OEM part utilising optimised pipe routing. with a larger bend radius to smooth airflow going into the intercooler. The hose also incorporates a stepped design to match the OEM or Revo intercooler. ensuring port matched airflow transition between the hose and intercooler.



THROTTLE PIPE DESIGN


The Revo throttle pipe is much larger than the stock part. manufactured using a mandrel-bent aluminium hard pipe and silicone hoses. volume has been increased by 16%. The reinforced oil resistant silicone hoses are stepped and ID-matched to promote laminar. uniformed flow across the transition of parts. This part also features a CNC sensor boss to house the pressure/temperature sensor. with has been exactly matched to OEM dimensions.



SILICONE HOSES


As with many other Revo hardware kits. all hoses are constructed from oil-resistant silicone and made up of a minimum of 4ply layers. Both features ensure hose longevity by controlling hose flex due to pressure/vacuum cycling and resisting hose degradation by oil in the intake stream.

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT?


All Revo products are designed in-house using the latest 3D printing technology. CAD and CFD software. Every product is rigorously tested utilising an in-house Hub dyno and Revo data acquisition software. The benefits of the Revo intercooler pipe upgrade allow the turbo to run more efficiently. moving a larger volume of air and minimising turbulence. This increases power and torque. especially in the middle of the rev range as highlighted during controlled dyno testing.


PERFORMANCE?


Back-to-back testing of both the OEM intercooler pipework and Revo upgrade was carried out on an Audi S4 B9 3.0TFSI fitted with Revo intercooler. Revo Stage 1 Software and the Revo Carbon Series air intake system. The overall maximum power gains between the two sets of runs were 4HP and 8NM.
